Today was the last day of Kindergarten for my baby boy Noah. How did this happen!!? My baby!! He's officially a first grader!! Today was the party at school and everyone had a blast.

It was truly a wonderful year. We made some GREAT friends, learned a lot, and had a blast. Now, it's officially SUMMER!!!!! YAY!!!!!! Let the real fun begin ;)

Bachelorette Par-tay

(Apologies in advance for anyone who feels that any of the bachelorette-type pics are offensive in any way. We definitely had FUN)

Hello everyone, sorry it has been so long since my last post. I was away with some friends this past weekend at a Bachelorette party and am having trouble getting back in the swing of things. Here are some pictures from our trip. We stayed in a gorgeous rental home in Santa Ynez, CA and had a blast.

Here is a front view f the house named the "Country Charmer" by the owners. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a pool, etc. It was perfect!!

It was the perfect place for 10 girlfriends to relax and do some partying :)

The first night we went out to a yummy dinner at a Mexican food place called Don Carlitos. Here's a pic of the beautiful bride (my college friend Susie) on our way to dinner.

We were thirsty ;) haha.

After dinner, we walked down the country road to a local country bar called Mavericks.
It was authentic (if you know what I mean).

It was a GREAT night!! We ended the night in the hot tub back at the house (which strangely turned into a heated debate about school lunches and healthy vs. convenient foods etc. haha. Go figure).

The next day it was time to do some wine tasting. We had a limo bus take us around which was awesome!!! There was dancing. And champagne. Oh yeah baby!

I'm not really much of a wine drinker, but it was still a very fun activity with a fun group of girls.

After we got back, we spent a good chunk of hours relaxing out by the pool. It was much needed and much appreciated by all of us.

Which later transformed into this....(a bit hard to read but it says "Dirty Disney Bachelorette"). Susie is a huge Disney princess fan, so we themed Saturday night and we all had some fun being goofy and dressing up like Disney princesses. haha. Yep - you read that right (we-are-dorks). It was sort of a fun half-assed rendition of the princesses....ironically I don't have a pic of myself. Here is my sis and Miranda doing their best Pocahontas. Haha, SOO funny!!!

Yep - we're all over 30 and we still had fun playing raunchy bachelorette party games. Total dorks.

It was an absolutely FABULOUS weekend and we all had a blast!!! Susie's wedding is in July where my sis and I will happily stand by her side as bridesmaids and watch her marry her prince. Ain't love grand!?

The Haps on the Craps

Hello everyone! I have been a lazy blogger lately. Not too much to blog about at the moment. My house is messy, school is almost out, etc, blah blah. Haha. I did take some random pictures of what's happenin' over here in my world :)

Potty training. Full force. SO not fun, but must be done. She didn't want to be photographed. haha.

She's doing really well so far so hopefully she keeps it up :)

We are also growing tomatoes for the second year in a row. YAY!

Super excited for these babies to turn red and get in mah belly!!! haha!

I am spray painting a few things white for my friend's nursery. The bird cage was brown, and the peg thingy was white with a girly floral print on it.

I scored this awesome box of vintage Xmas bulbs at a garage sale for $1. I'm super excited about it :) My husband thinks I'm a hoarder. haha!

Oh - and remember how I had a wall of frames in progress long long ago??

Well - they pretty much came down shortly after they went up. They kept falling off the wall when my kids were acting goofy in the hall. They were never straight, etc. Well, I filled all of the zillion holes and touched up with paint. Recently I started a "gallery" type wall there that I'm kind of lovin' it. I need to fill it in of course, but here is what is there so far.

It's the wall between the kid's rooms so I'm happy that it's sort of a happy kid-friendly wall.

Luckily, mouse got over the mumps and was ready to party :)

I like how it's coming along so far and I also like that I have the freedom to add random things that I like as I go along :)

Oh - and lastly, I reccently added these fun pom poms to my Etsy shop. I found yarn colors that looked just like the yummy rainbow sherbert ice cream from my youth :) Yay! Looks like Summer to me :)

Summer pom poms and HOBBY LOBBY!

Happy Weekend everyone!! I am gearing up for a day of watching my little baby nephew while my sis packs her house (moving day tomorrow). It's actually the first time I will have him all to myself. My youngest is 3, so it's been a while since I was in full on baby mode. A bit scared, but mostly excited. He's so adorable, it's impossible not to smile when I'm with him :)

I have been busy crafting lately. I had a few "pomathons" as they have previously been called. This is when I make a zillion pom poms in one sitting (usually while watching tv or a movie after the kids are in bed).

I also want to report that there is now a Hobby Lobby in the town over from me. Woohoo!!! AND, my mom got a job there (cha-ching...employee discount here I come). My sis in law and I could not be more thrilled to have this craft supply mecca in our backyard - finally!!! Here are a few things I picked up on my first trip to the "Hob Lobster." I used a gift card that my sis in law gave me for my b-day back in March (can you tell we have been dying for it to open, ha ha).

I got this cute rustic metal basket. It was $4 and then 40% off. Um - yeah. Awesome! Oh, and I also got a big bag of shells to fill that glass vase in the background. It came with that big shell on my stack of books too. I love me some summer shells :)

I got this cool burlap vase/candle holder. It has some sort of longitude/latitude stenciled on it. $6 - 40% off. Yep!

My regular priced item that I used my 40% off coupon on was this cool caddy. I plan to use it on my desk with glue gun sticks, pens, etc. I think it was $7.99 - 40% coupon. I can't wait to label it and get it loaded up :)

I also purchase my very first paint-by-number set. I am so excited to find a peaceful moment (RARE peaceful moment) to get started.

And lastly, I recently decided to switch all of my gallery wall frames to white and gold. They used to be black but I think the white looks much lighter and brighter. Perfect for Summer. The two wider white ones (top left and bottom right) came from Hob Lob. Frames are on sale there every day (which means they are marked up to begin with but ah well, what can ya do).

I love the clean look of the white frames. And of course, the gold, I love the gold :)
