It was the last weekend before school starts and I was feeling a bit blah. It was Saturday and all I had been doing all day was cleaning up around the house, running errands (while dragging my kids around), and a bit of crafting during nap time. Blah. I wanted to do some "last weekend before school starts" fun stuff with the kids but I was lacking motivation. Blah. My husband was at work and I expressed to him that I was feeling like a blob and that we needed to do something fun on Sunday to make up for our lame non "last weekend before school starts" Saturday. So, with a suggestion from my hubby, we headed out Sunday evening to play some miniature golf (Noah has been dying to go). We-had-a-BLAST! I don't think I actually hit one official ball properly as I was trying to keep Hayden out of the pond while holding both of our clubs and balls, AND trying to be the "golf-arazzi" for my cute family. We all had a blast, and Noah even got a "hole in one" twice!!!
Noah :)
Hayden :)
This is how Hayden liked to get her ball out of the hole (after she dropped it in there with her hand) Ha ha!!
(she's quite the fashionista on the mini-golf course)
CHEESE!!!!!
CHEESE!!!!!!
No cheese.
Proof that I was there :)
"Hole in One!!!"
Climbing girl...trouble.
Noah was extra lucky and got to drive the mini go-karts! He loved it!!!
I'm glad we took a little time to step away from the blah mundane, and make some memories during this holiday weekend. Now, it's back to the grind ;)
Looks like a fun night! And your kids are way too adorable! I just love Hayden's outfit. :)

ReplyDeletelooks like a fun night for you all, esp. Noah driving the go karts, every little boys dream - I love that Hayden is in the "no cheese" phase right now... so is Parker - she's still totally stinking adorable even without the CHEESE!!!
