Thank you mother nature!!

Today was Noah's Kindergarten orientation and Josh and I got to go with him. We met his teacher, saw his classroom, and learned a little bit about what to expect for the coming year. Tomorrow is his first official day and he is super excited to be there without his dorky mommy and daddy lurking around :)

In other news, I have a SERIOUS bone to pick with Mother Nature. Remember my pretty pretty plant??

Well it has being growing like crazy! So leafy and beautiful! I have been thrilled to have the perfect type of plant for this morning sun/afternoon shade spot.

BUT

A few days ago, I noticed some holes in some of the leaves. Just a few scattered about. Then this morning, when I came outside, this is what I saw....

Want a closer look???

These freakin' creepy crawly caterpillars ate my entire plant!! There are a ton of them on there just munching away. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. What the!!?? I mean really. SO annoyed with you Mother Nature. SO SO annoyed! Ugh!

In less-grumpy news, I wanted to share with you all how our "summer list" turned out.
There are only a few things on there un-checked, which is awesome!! We had such a fun filled Summer, and this list definitely helped us be "intentional" with our time and make some memories :)

Hooray for Kindergarten and Summer Lists gone right, and BOOOOOOO for creepy caterpillars!

  1. How lame of those caterpillars, boo. And good job on the list. Although I think you should still go to disneyland. Summer is the worst (aka busiest and hottest) time anyways. My mom would take us out of school a few days in nov or dec and that's when we usually went. It was the best!

  2. Seriously!! I saw it just the other day and it was SO leafy and pretty :) and when I got there and saw it all dead and beaten to shreds, I had no idea what had happened. I thought the heat may have killed it - LOL - but nope, it was those mangy caterpillars. Sorry sister! yay for kindergarten :) so so awesome!

  7. OH MY GOODNESS!! I *love* this idea! I have a list of things I want to do this fall and am totally going to do this(this is our first holiday season as a family of 3!)

I'll contact you via Etsy (that's how I found your blog!)....but, I'm wanting the following if you can do a custom listing maybe?

1.) a fall(ish), but modern mini bunting just like the one you have shown in this photo across your chalkboard.... because i'm that in love with this idea! i'm hoping i can find the right fun big frame and spray paint in orange!
**You don't happen to have a black/white chevron print do you? That would look adorable on these little flags!

    2.) this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/81801288/happy-pom-pom-garland-halloween

    3.) this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/81927021/spooky-glitter-bunting-halloween
