A quick picture of my less than ideal workspace. Ha ha! Add kids running ragged to this pic and that just about sums it up (although I did score some free sawhorses from my neighbors garage sale and they were a HUGE help).
Close-up shot of the YUCK. Poor baby has been seriously mistreated!
And here's the "after" shot. Woohoo!!!!
Doesn't she just look like she belongs here!?
Some light distressing to get you in the mood ;)
Oooooh, ahhhhhhhhhhh.
The inlay on the top matches my carpet (see why I'm attached to it). It's much too big for my space though, especially since my kids are still small and need floor space to play on. boo hoo.
I wanted to include this pic too. It's actually one of my favorites of my "table scape" but I'm trying to be more aware of my backgrounds. In this pic, the cushions on my couch are zippers-out (don't ask, my husband likes to flip them from time to time to help them keep their shape), and there's a nice stripey beach towel hanging over the door in the far background. Classic!
So, that's it. My first official "it's for sale" furniture makeover. All done! Oh yeah - and don't forget to enter my {SWEET} giveaway HERE.

ReplyDeleteWow! that came out great! I love it!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely!! I wish you could keep it!
ReplyDeleteOMG! You really did just do a round table. How weird is that. In addition you did the same exact thing I am doing. I sanded the nasty top down and painted the legs white. I am in the process of letting the first coat dry right now. I have to say, I like your legs better than mine.
ReplyDeleteYou are like me, and have to sell things, but I'm thinking you really need to keep this one. Or at least use it until you get the right price for it....
Take care,
Lisa
I can see why you're having a hard time parting with it! It came out so beautiful! And I love that you stained the top instead of painting over that beautiful inlay detail. I'm sure this piece will sell quickly! Beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteWow that turned out awesome! Wish I lived close to you AND had a place to put it! Looks like you will getting your new shoes very soon! Great job!
