First - let me just say that you "yarn wreath" people are NUTTY! "Sure, I'll make a couple yarn wreaths. Should be easy enough, tons of people have made them." UM. Ca-razy!!! It's definitely not hard to do, but it's totally tedious and takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I will most likely NOT make yarn wreaths again.

Now what?? Hmmmmm. Givin' it some thought (and icing the claw that is my hand - ha ha). Reveal to come soon. I'm lusting after the ones in
this post. We'll see!
Haha!! Yes they are tedious! Can't wait to see the end result!
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling. I made one for Valentine's and the giant balls of yarn were on sale, so I bought...um, the ball didn't fit throught the hole of the wreath. I spent hours wrapping that thing. But, it's worth it.
ReplyDeleteAwww.....sorry about the claw! I see you gave up the quatrefoil wreath idea?! I am excited to see what you decide to do! xo
ReplyDeleteThe trick for me has been to use yarn that's a little thicker because it makes it go faster. I've made 2 so far and never had a "claw" problem :) Can't wait to see what you do with them!
ReplyDeleteAnd P.S. When did you open ANOTHER Etsy shop??? I've been a little out of the loop lately so I must've missed it.
you are so good at buntings and i have seen some of these with little penant banners that are sooo cute! i can see you doing that. i can't wait to see what you end up with!
ReplyDeleteand i have to apologize because i laughed out loud when i saw the two wreaths in pieces. sorry.
I bet they'll turn out great!
ReplyDeletelol! thanks funny, I have a lot of don't ask moments! : )
ReplyDeleteWhat you have done so far looks great....I can't wait to see how you finish them. I love the aqua color. I've been curious about how much time it takes to make one.
ReplyDeleteThey turned out really cute though!!!! I'm always surprised at how annoyed I get if a project actually requires some work and time on my part! :)
