Wishful thinking and some "BEFORE" shots

Thanks to our sweet neighbor John, we have these new guys in our backyard :)

Yep, tomatoes!!!!! Mmmmm.
I'm a total brown thumb, so we'll see how it goes. Neighbor John promises that he'll water them over the fence for us until they get sturdy. After that, it's up to us to keep them alive. May be wishful thinking, but hopefully we're dripping in red juicy tomatoes soon :)

I also quickly wanted to share a few before pictures of projects I'm working on at the moment (and one in particular that I'm SUPER excited about......a keeper of course).

One: For Sale at the flea...

Two: For sale at the flea...

Three: for sale at the Flea... (maybe a keeper....not 100% sure)

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST - MY KEEPER!!!!!!! Oh my lord, I'm SO SO in love and can't wait to share the reveal. It's half done in my garage and I am so antsy to get her finished!
If you need me, I'll be outside painting :)
Happy ALMOST Friday!

  4. There is nothing better than home grown tomatoes! I planted some for the first time last year and they were delicious. I had to to remember to water them a lot. Other than that they are easy to grow. I am envious of your high boy (or is it tall boy) your found! I love that. I can't wait to see what color you chose . Fun finds!

  5. WOW! Love all your finds! Nice job! Can't wait for the reveals. I have tomatoes, herbs, and strawberries on my deck. They are barely surviving. I have a brown thumb too. This 100 degree weather isn't helping.

  6. Good luck with the tomatoes! We planted ours a couple of months ago and are finally getting some of the cherry tomatoes! As far as I can tell, as long as you water them, you'll be fine.

And I'm so excited to see how your furniture pieces turn out. Especially that GIANT dresser! Now get off the computer and go finish painting so we can see the AFTER pictures!
